Set up IPTV on
Roku Smart TV.
Roku does not offer a general IPTV player in its channel store. The most practical solution is to use screen mirroring from your phone or tablet, or consider adding a streaming stick for a better experience.
Before you start
- A Roku TV or Roku streaming player
- A phone, tablet or computer on the same Wi-Fi
- Your login details from us
Step by step
Install a player on your phone or tablet
Download IPTV Smarters Pro on your Android or iOS device and sign in with the Xtream Codes login using your username, password and server address.
Enable screen mirroring on Roku
On the Roku, open Settings, then System, then Screen mirroring, and set it to Always allow or Prompt.
Mirror to your Roku
On Android, use Smart View or Cast. On iOS, use AirPlay. Select your Roku device from the list.
Start watching
Open your IPTV player on the phone or tablet and start playback. It will display on your TV.
- Better option: Use a streaming stick
A Fire Stick or Chromecast plugs into the same TV and runs a full IPTV player natively, which gives a much smoother experience than mirroring.
- Good to know
Mirroring works but uses your phone or computer to drive playback, which drains battery and means you cannot use your device for other tasks while watching.
Roku Smart TV FAQs
Is there really no Roku IPTV app?
Roku keeps a closed channel store and does not list general IPTV players. Mirroring or adding a streaming stick are the practical routes.
Would a Fire Stick be better?
For most people, yes. A Fire Stick plugs into the same TV and runs a full IPTV player natively with Xtream login support. It is our usual recommendation for Roku owners.
