TIZEN

Set up IPTV on
Samsung Smart TV.

Samsung TVs run Tizen OS with the Samsung Apps store. App availability varies by region. If available, install a player and sign in with your Xtream Codes credentials. No extra hardware needed.

~5 MIN typical setup6 steps

Before you start

  • A Samsung Smart TV from 2017 or newer (Tizen 3.0+)
  • The TV connected to the internet
  • Your login details from us

Step by step

  1. Open Samsung Apps

Press the Home button on your remote, then go to Apps and open the search icon.

  2. Search for an IPTV player

Search for "Smarters Player Lite" (the Tizen version of IPTV Smarters Pro), "IPTV Smarters", or other available IPTV apps in your region.

  3. Install and open the player

If found, install the player and open it. If not available in your region, see the alternative below.

  4. Choose Xtream Codes login

Select "Login with Xtream Codes API" or similar option to sign in with your credentials.

  5. Enter your credentials

Type in the username, password and server address from our message, then save.

  6. Wait for content to load

The app downloads your channel list, films, series and TV guide. First sync takes 1-2 minutes.

  7. If no Xtream app is available

Some regions have limited IPTV apps on Samsung. If Xtream login apps are not available, message us - we may recommend sideloading via USB or using a streaming stick for easier setup.

  8. Good to know

Some Tizen players charge a small one-off activation fee (typically $5-15). That fee goes to the app developer, not to us. Free alternatives may be available.

Samsung Smart TV FAQs

Why can I not find IPTV Smarters Pro?

The Tizen version is called "Smarters Player Lite". If still not found, IPTV apps may not be available in your region store. Contact us for alternatives.

The app shows an activation fee. Do I have to pay it?

Some apps charge a one-time fee set by their developer. If you would rather avoid it, a streaming stick like Firestick gives you more free options.

How do I find my TV model year?
