Set up IPTV on
PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5.
PlayStation consoles restrict background apps and offer only a basic browser, so IPTV support is very limited. The browser works for basic playback with web player login, but a streaming stick is our usual recommendation for proper Xtream Codes support.

- Good to know
PlayStation does not support native IPTV apps with Xtream Codes or M3U playlist support. The browser struggles with continuous video playback and has no TV guide. A Fire Stick or Google TV device is a far better fit.
PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 FAQs
Why is PlayStation support limited?
Sony keeps a closed app store and its browser is not built for continuous video. There is no native IPTV player available that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists.
What should I use instead?
Plug a streaming stick into the same television. It costs little and gives you proper Xtream Codes login support with a full TV guide.
Can I use M3U URLs on PlayStation?
No. PlayStation has no app support for M3U playlists or Xtream Codes. The browser is the only option, and it is very limited.
