Set up IPTV on
MAG Box.
MAG boxes work differently to app-based devices. They use a portal address and MAC address authentication. You send us your box MAC address, we register it, then you enter the portal address we provide.
Before you start
- A MAG box (250, 254, 322 or similar)
- The box connected to the internet by cable or Wi-Fi
- Your subscription details from us
Step by step
Find the MAC address
On the box, open Settings, then System Settings, then Servers. Look for the MAC address — it usually starts with 00:1A:79.
Send us the MAC address
Message our team with the MAC address so we can register the box against your subscription.
Wait for confirmation
We will activate your device on our server and send you the portal URL. This usually takes just a few minutes.
Open the portal settings
Go to Settings, then System Settings, then Servers, and choose Portals.
Enter the portal address
Enter the portal URL we sent you into Portal 1, then save the settings.
Reboot the box
Restart the MAG box. It will connect to the portal and load your channel list automatically.
- Good to know
MAG boxes only support MAC address authentication. Unlike app-based devices, you cannot use Xtream Codes or M3U login on these boxes.
MAG Box FAQs
Why does my MAC address matter?
MAG boxes identify themselves by MAC address rather than a username. This is built into the device firmware and cannot be changed.
Can I use Xtream login on a MAG box?
No. MAG boxes only support portal and MAC address authentication. For Xtream Codes login, consider an Android TV box or Fire Stick instead.
The portal will not load.
Check the portal address for typos and confirm the box has internet. If it still fails, message us — we may need to re-register the MAC address.
What if I get a new MAG box?
Send us the new MAC address and we will move your subscription across. The old box will stop working once the new one is activated.
